The Brahmaputra

This video was shot in the month of December` 2006 in Guwahati city. The river Brahmaputra one of the largest rivers of the world flows from China through India and Bangladesh before it finally goes into the Bay of Bengal. During the winter months the Brahmaputra which is usually knows for its ferocious mood for causing floods in Assam, turns out to be a photographers delight. People come out in large numbers to bask in the winter sun on the banks of the river and its sands on the dried river bed. This season is also a picnic season for the Assamese people who were gifted with this beautiful landscape right here in Guwahati, the gateway to the northeast India.
