RTW Videoblog #7: Sex Workers in St. Petersburg

In my endless search for fascinating film topics to shoot for Current TV (http://www.current.tv/community/people/worldi), I found myself walking the streets of suburban St. Petersburg with several local prostitutes. Following my social worker friends, I was able to learn about a serial attacker that has been terrorizing these women, as well as trying to understand a bit more as to what its like to be a prostitute in Russia. I'm exhausted, but loving these opportunities to see parts of the world that not even locals get to see. This is why I travel! Even if I miss out on more traditional traveller stops, I am accumulating these experiences that are changing me forever.
