Starting a 1949 Seagrave firetruck. It has a 500 C.I. V-12 with 24 spark plugs and dual distributors. The clutch is operational, the engine turns, fires and idles. The transmission works, The truck can be driven onto a trailer. This truck was originally ordered by the City of Crystal Lake, IL 60014 in 1948. Micheal J. O'Malley was mayor of Hoffman Estates until his death in 2000. He ran for state rep for the 66th district and used this truck for promotion.
