It's an omni-directional condenser microphone that sports an omni-directional capsule inside a round grille. (Getting dizzy yet?) Blue is using the same B4 capsule in this that was put in the Blue Bottle microphone, and rumor has it this mic is quite good for recording classical music; break out your cellos, clarinets, or bassoon, and get to work.
